Prior Lake residents can drop off fall yard waste for free recycling services during the month of October at Dakota Prairie Composting, owned and operated by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.
Drop-off hours through Oct. 31 are:
- Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, 7 am. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday, closed
Local residents must show an ID when dropping off yard waste.
Dakota Prairie Composting is located in Louisville Township; the address is 12386 Chestnut Blvd., Shakopee.
